TV actress Munmun Dutta likely to get arrested after her bail plea rejected by Hisar special court.

Last year, a video of the TV Actress went viral on social media, where she used derogatory Casteist slur “Bh#ngi” saying “I am coming on youtube, and I want to look good don’t want to look like a Bhangi.” After the video went viral on social media, there was a huge outrage among the Ambedkarties across country and #ArrestMunmunDutta was trending on twitter

Munmun then moved her case to the High Court, requesting them to keep a halt on the arrest But since nothing came out from there, the actress’ advocate moved the case to the Hisar special court under the SC / ST Act. The court, on 25th January, declared that Munmun Dutta’s petition has been dismissed.

At that time Munmun Dutta requested a petition in the Supreme Court to suppress all the cases against her but failed as supreme court denied. She then moved to high court, requesting to keep a halt on her arrest. But nothing positive came out to her from there too. Thereafter her advocate, Rajat Kalsan, went to Hisar special court under SC/ST act, where the anticipatory bail plea was rejected too. With this recent update her chances of getting arrested are increased.
