Why 25 December Is Celebrated as “Manusmriti Dahan Divas”?

Dr. Ambedkar considered Manusmriti as the basic code of Brahminism. This book declares Brahmins as superior by birth and backward, Dalits and women as inferior on the basis of birth. The only duty of backward-Dalits and women is to serve Brahmins and men.

He said that the law which is going on in the Indian society. It is based on Manusmriti. It is a Brahmin, male-dominated, discriminatory law. It should be abolished that’s why we are burning Manusmriti.
