BSP President Mayawati Demands Actions Against Accused of Urinating on Tribal Man in Madhya Pradesh: Calls for Confiscation or Demolition of Properties and Criticises BJP’s Delayed Response
In a strong statement, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati expressed her deep concern over the disturbing incident where a local leader was seen urinating on an Adivasi man in Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh. She condemned the inhuman act in the strongest terms and called it highly shameful.
BSP President Mayawati took to Twitter and voiced her disappointment, stating that the BJP government’s delayed response, which only came after the video went viral, indicates their involvement, which she finds extremely disheartening.
The BSP leader further demanded that the Madhya Pradesh BJP government take decisive action against the perpetrator by invoking the National Security Act (NSA). Additionally, she urged for the confiscation or demolition of the accused’s properties as a severe measure. Mayawati emphasized that shielding the accused should not be tolerated. Such incidents, she asserted, bring disgrace to society as a whole.
