MP: Six arrested for Brutally Thrashing two Dalit youths, garlanding them with shoes and parading in Shivpuri district.
Madhya Pradesh police arrested six persons named Ajmat Khan, Vakil Khan, Arif Khan, Shahid Khan, Islam Khan, Rahisha Bano and Saina Bano for reportedly brutally beating two Dalit youths, garlanding them with shoes and parading in Varkhadi village in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh.
According to the Police, the incident happened on June 30. The Duo was beaten in suspicion of molesting and filming some girls but later on investigation revealed that the allegations of molestation against the two men were unsubstantiated and ultimately proven false. The incident was captured on camera and the video went viral on social media, in response to the incident, the state government took action and demolished illegal structures belonging to the accused persons.
“The Taliban incident with a Dalit man in Shivpuri’s Narwar is a matter of shame for humanity. Ajmal, Arif, Shahid all the accused involved in the incident have been arrested, along with taking NSA action against the accused, bulldozer will also be run on the encroachment.” said Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra.
