A sessions court in Muzaffarnagar on Thursday sentenced three brothers to life imprisonment for murdering a Dalit man 11 years ago.

The brothers Ramesh, Amresh and Dhanpal paraded the body of 35-year-old Karam Chand on a bicycle after the murder in Nirgajani village of Saharanpur Division. This incident took place in April, 2011.

Not just that, the three brothers threatened the entire enraged community with severe consequences if anyone filed a criminal report against them. 

11 years later, they are arrested as per the provisions of SC/ST act and other various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
